If Cumbria didn't exist, then Cornwall would be my favourite English County. It's full of Superb show Gardens Like 'The lost gardens of Helligan, Eco projects like 'The Eden Project, wild moors, spectacular beaches and tranquil coves and harbours. The people are wonderful, so are the Pasties and I always enjoy my time there.
